(“Apple”) has moved to file under seal 2 documents relating to its Motion for a Protective Order. In support of its administrative motion, 3 Apple has filed the declaration required under Civil L.R. Rule 79-5 and General Order No. 62, 4 which provides evidence of good cause for this Court to permit filing under seal. The declaration 5 establishes that information contained in the documents listed below is “privileged or protectable 6 as a trade secret or otherwise entitled to protection under the law.” Civil L.R. 79-5(a). Apple’s 7 request is narrowly tailored to seek the sealing only of sealable information. 8 Samsung does not oppose this administrative motion. 9 Accordingly, for good cause shown, the Court ORDERS that the following documents 10 shall be filed under seal: 11 1. Apple’s Motion for a Protective Order; 12 2. Declaration of Michael A. Jacobs in Support of Apple’s Motion for a Protective 13 Order and its exhibits; 14 3. Apple’s Proposed Order Granting Its Motion for a Protective Order; 15 4. Apple’s Motion to Shorten Time for Briefing and Hearing on Apple’s Motion for a 16 17 Protective Order; and 5. 18 Apple’s Proposed Order Granting Apple’s Motion to Shorten Time for Briefing and Hearing on Apple’s Motion for A Protective Order. 19 IT IS SO ORDERED. 20 Dated: October _____, 2011. 21 22 HONORABLE PAUL S.
