Plaintiff, an inmate at the Santa Clara County Jail, California, filed a pro se civil

rights complaint under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, challenging the conditions of his confinement.

On August 5, 2011, the Court dismissed the complaint with leave to amend within thirty

21

days of the order. (Docket No. 15.)

On November 15, 2011, Plaintiff filed a letter requesting additional time to file his

23

amended complaint. (Docket No. 26.) Good cause appearing, Plaintiff’s second request

24

for an extension of time GRANTED. Plaintiff shall file his amended complaint no later

25

than January 13, 2012.
