No. C 12-0969 LHK (PR)
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
On February 27, 2012, Plaintiff, proceeding pro se, filed a letter, which commenced this
16
action. The same day, the Clerk notified Plaintiff that he had not filed a complaint, paid the
17
filing fee, nor had he filed an application to proceed in forma pauperis (“IFP”). Along with the
18
deficiency notices, Plaintiff was provided with a IFP application and instructions for completing
19
it. Plaintiff was further cautioned that his failure to either file a complaint and a completed IFP
20
application, or pay the filing fee within thirty days would result in the dismissal of this action.
21
On March 29, 2012, Plaintiff filed a complaint and a motion for leave to proceed IFP.
22
On April 27, 2012, the Clerk notified Plaintiff that his motion for leave to proceed IFP
23
was still deficient. Plaintiff was directed to submit a Certificate of Funds completed and signed
24
by an authorized officer at the prison. Plaintiff was warned that his failure to either file a
25
completed IFP application or pay the filing fee within thirty days would result in the dismissal of
26
this action. To date, Plaintiff has not paid his filing fee, nor has he filed a completed IFP
27
application.
