On December 21, 2016, the Clerk issued a notice scheduling this action for a Status

Conference at 10:00 a.m. on February 2, 2017, and requiring the parties to file a joint status report
15
on or before January 26, 2017. Dkt. No. 183. As of the time this order was filed, the court has not
16
received a status report from any party, joint or otherwise.

Accordingly, the court hereby issues an order to show cause why this action should not be
18
dismissed for failure to prosecute. If Plaintiff does not, by 12:00 p.m. on January 31, 2017, file
19
or cause to be filed a status report or otherwise demonstrate good cause in writing why this case
20
should not be dismissed, the court will dismiss the action with prejudice pursuant to Federal Rule
21
of Civil Procedure 41(b). No hearing will be held on the order to show cause unless otherwise
22
ordered by the court.
