On November 20, 2012, plaintiff, proceeding pro se, filed a civil rights complaint
17
pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On March 15, 2013, the court dismissed plaintiff’s complaint with
18
leave to amend, and directed plaintiff to file an amended complaint within thirty days. Plaintiff
19
then filed two motions for an extension of time in which to file his amended complaint. The
20
court granted both motions, and, on June 4, 2013, the court ordered plaintiff to file an amended
21
complaint within sixty days. To date, plaintiff has not filed an amended complaint or otherwise
22
communicated with the court.

Thus, the instant action is DISMISSED without prejudice. The Clerk shall enter
judgment and close the file.
