v.
WATSONVILLE COMMUNITY
HOSPITAL, et al.,
United States District Court
Northern District of California
Defendants.
12
13
Before the Court is Plaintiff Rafael Munoz’s motion to appoint himself as guardian ad
14
litem for Plaintiff J.M., a minor. ECF 111. Mr. Rafael Munoz is J.M.’s father and legal guardian,
15
and declares that he has no interests adverse to J.M., and that the appointment is intended for this
16
litigation only. See ECF 113. Having considered Plaintiff Munoz’s submissions, the Court finds
17
the matter appropriate for submission without a hearing and Mr. Rafael Munoz a suitable
18
representative for J.M.’s interests in this action. Accordingly, the Court GRANTS the motion to
19
appoint guardian ad litem for purposes of this action, and VACATES the hearing scheduled for
20
this motion. Civ. L.R. 7-11(b).
