Plaintiff Brian Lee filed his complaint on May 18, 2015.1 He later requested that the

14

deadline to serve Defendants County of Santa Cruz et al. be extended to December 18, 2015.2 The

15

court granted this request.3 Lee still has not served Defendants and did not appear at today’s case

16

management conference.4 No later than February 9, 2016, Lee shall show cause in writing why

17

this case should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute.
