Case No. 17-cv-00773-BLF
ORDER DENYING DEFENDANTS’
MOTION TO DISMISS
v.
MICHAEL W JONES, et al.,
Defendants.
12
13
Presently before the Court is the motion to dismiss Plaintiff First Financial Security, Inc.’s
14
(“First Financial”) complaint brought by Defendants Michael W. Jones, Insurance Distribution
15
Consulting, LLC (“IDC”), and Supreme Alliance, LLC (“Supreme Alliance”) (collectively,
16
“Defendants”). Mot., ECF 15; Mem. P. & A. (“Mem”), ECF 16. Defendants argue that the
17
complaint fails to comply with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure Rule 8(a), because there are “zero
18
factual allegations of wrongdoing.” Mem. 6. The Court heard oral argument on Defendants’
19
motion on July 20, 2017.
20
Having reviewed the complaint, the Court finds it adequately notifies Defendants of the
21
claims against them. Accordingly, for that reason and the reasons stated on the record, the Court
22
DENIES Defendants’ motion to dismiss. Defendants shall answer the complaint on or before
23
August 21, 2017.
24
IT IS SO ORDERED.
