ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE RE SETTLEMENT SHAKTI HOTELS, INC., et al., Defendants. 9 10 Case No. 5:17-cv-01453-EJD On March 22, 2018, the mediator filed a Certification of ADR Session indicating that the United States District Court Northern District of California 11 case settled. (See Dkt. No. 19). Accordingly, the parties are ordered to appear before the 12 Honorable Edward J. Davila on May 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM in Courtroom No. 4, 5th Floor, United 13 States District Court, 280 South First Street, San Jose, California, 95113, to show cause why the 14 case should not be dismissed pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(b). On or before 15 May 14, 2018, the parties shall file a joint statement in response to the Order to Show Cause 16 setting forth the status of settlement efforts as well as the amount of additional time necessary to 17 finalize and file a dismissal. 18 The Order to Show Cause shall be automatically vacated and the parties relieved of the 19 obligation to file a joint statement if a stipulated dismissal pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil 20 Procedure 41(a) is filed on or before May 14, 2018. 21 22 23 24 25 26 All other pretrial deadlines and hearing dates are VACATED and any pending motions are TERMINATED. Failure to comply with any part of this Order will be deemed sufficient grounds to dismiss the action. IT IS SO ORDERED.
