ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO SEAL
vs.

AIRBORNE SYSTEMS NORTH

Defendants.

“When ruling on a motion to seal court records, the district court must balance the
18
competing interests of the public and the party seeking to seal judicial records” and “must
19
articulate a factual basis for each compelling reason to seal.” In re Midland Nat. Life Ins.
20
Co. Annuity Sales Practices Litig., 686 F.3d 1115, 1119 (9th Cir. 2012). Airborne asks the
21
Court to seal eight exhibits attached to its summary judgment motion. The Cavner’s don’t
22
oppose. The Court agrees that since these exhibits contain ITAR-content related to
23
confidential information about American military parachutes, compelling reasons exist to seal
24
these exhibits. The motion to seal is granted.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
