On May 21, 2018, Plaintiff filed a 21 petition for compromise of disputed claim of minor. Defendants filed a non- 22 opposition to the petition. On May 21, 2018, Magistrate Judge Barbara L. Major 23 was assigned to handle the minor’s compromise. Judge Major subsequently ordered 24 the parties to submit supplemental briefing as to whether the proposed compromise 25 is fair and reasonable. 26 supplemental briefing, Judge Major issued a Report and Recommendation (“R&R”), 27 recommending that the Court approve the proposed compromise and grant the 28 petition.
