GARY REX LONG, JR.,
Applicant,
v.
PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
Respondent.
ORDER DIRECTING APPLICANT TO CURE DEFICIENCIES
Applicant, an inmate at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center, has
submitted to the court a document titled “UMDDA Uniform Mandatory Disposition of
Detainers Act” (ECF No. 1). Although not entirely clear, Applicant apparently is seeking
some sort of relief in this court with respect to a detainer or pending criminal charges.
Therefore, this habeas corpus action has been commenced. As part of the court’s
review pursuant to D.C.COLO.LCivR 8.1(b), the court has determined that the
document is deficient as described in this order. Applicant will be directed to cure the
following if he wishes to pursue his claims. If Applicant does not intend to pursue a
habeas corpus action in this court at this time, he should advise the court of that fact
and the instant action will be dismissed. Any papers that Applicant files in response to
this order must include the civil action number on this order.
