No. 08-442 (TFH) Civil Action No. 08-1230 PETITIONER KAHLID SAAD MOHAMMAD'S RESPONSE TO THIS COURT'S JUNE 15, 2009, ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE On June 15, 2009, Respondent filed a Notice of Transfer of Petitioner averring that Petitioner, Kahlid Saad Mohammed (ISN 335), had been transferred from the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This Court issued a June 25, 2009, Order for Petitioner to show cause why this matter should not be dismissed based on Respondent's Notice of Transfer. Counsel for Petitioner have, through their investigators, been in contact with Petitioner's family who have met with and continue to visit with Mr. Mohammed at the "Rehabilitation Facility" in Saudi Arabia. Based on those conversations, Counsel can offer no reason why this matter should not be dismissed and would formally request that the above matter be voluntarily dismissed on Petitioner's behalf.
