LODGING OF THE CLASSIFIED CERTIFICATION AND DECLARATION OF THE
DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES
FOR REVIEW IN CAMERA AND EX PARTE
Defendant United States Department of Justice (“DOJ”) hereby provides notice that the
classified certification and declaration of James M. Cole, Deputy Attorney General of the United
States, was lodged with the United States Department of Justice Litigation Security Group for
secure storage and can be made available to the Court by a Classified Information Security
Officer for the Court’s in camera, ex parte review. This certification and declaration is provided
in support of the Defendant DOJ’s Motion to Dismiss, or, In the Alternative, For Summary
Judgment Regarding, Plaintiffs’ Claims Against the Verizon Defendants. An unclassified
certification by the Deputy Attorney General will be filed on the public record with the DOJ
motion.
