UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT MIDDLE DISTRICT OF FLORIDA TAMPA DIVISION SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION, Plaintiff, v. CASE NO: 8:09-cv-87-T-26CPT ARTHUR NADEL; SCOOP CAPITAL, LLC; and SCOOP MANAGEMENT, INC., Defendants, SCOOP REAL ESTATE, L.P.; VALHALLA INVESTMENT PARTNERS, L.P.; VALHALLA MANAGEMENT, INC.; VICTORY IRA FUND, LTD.; VICTORY FUND, LTD.; VIKING IRA FUND, LLC; VIKING FUND, LLC; and VIKING MANAGEMENT, LLC, Relief Defendants. / ORDER UPON DUE AND CAREFUL CONSIDERATION of the procedural history of this case, the Court enters the following order. The Court has received a letter from Dolores Serdar regarding her and her husband’s investment in Quest Energy Management Group, Inc., an entity which is part of the receivership in this case. In her letter, she “emphatically” requests a meeting with this Court or, alternatively, that she and her husband be paid based on their “status as a Senior Secured Lender to Quest.” The Court is sympathetic to the needs of Mrs. Serdar and her husband but is constrained by the judicial code of conduct from meeting with her. Nor is the Court authorized to grant her the relief she requests without the filing of a formal motion. The Clerk is directed to file her letter on the record of this case and to return to her the confidential material she sent with her letter. The Clerk is also directed to send a copy of this order to Mrs. Serdar at the following address: 12 Clubhouse Drive, Fruitland Park, Florida 34731. DONE AND ORDERED at Tampa, Florida, on June 12, 2018. s/Richard A. Lazzara RICHARD A. LAZZARA UNITED STATES DISTRICT JUDGE COPIES FURNISHED TO: Counsel of Record Dolores Serdar -2-
