PLAINTIFF’S RESPONSE TO COURT’S ORDER REQUIRING STATUS REPORT
On August 9, 2019, the Court issued an order requiring the parties to provide a report on the
status of the case and the necessity of further judicial involvement (DE 1408). The Commission’s
litigation efforts in this case concluded several years ago. The remaining actions and the need for
further Court involvement relate to the Receiver’s continuing collection and wind-down efforts.
The Receiver, through his motion to extend the time to file a status report until August 21, 2019,
filed earlier today, has indicated his intent to file a report.
