Thompson v. The Florida Bar Doc. 247 IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF FLORIDA JOHN B. THOMPSON, Plaintiff, v. THE FLORIDA BAR and DAVA J. TUNIS, Defendants. PLAINTIFF'S NOTICE OF FILING COMES NOW plaintiff, John B. Thompson, hereinafter Thompson, as an attorney on his own behalf, and hereby provides notice to the court of the filing of the attached news article from today's Daily Business Review about this case found at http://www.dailybusinessreview.com/news.html?news_id=45423, noting: Here is the statement from The Bar's Director of Public Information, Francine Walker: Case No. 07-21256 (Judge Adalberto Jordan) "There's nothing coming out of the federal court stopping us from doing our job." Wow. In other words, there's nothing this court can do to stop these people. Take that, Judge Jordan. It sounds like its time for this court to remind the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar that interposition and nullification went out of American jurisprudence when Nicholas Katzenbach went in the back door after George Wallace stood in the front door at the University of Alabama. The US Supreme Court's holding 1 Dockets.Justia.com Keller v. State Bar of California means nothing to these people, and they're telling this court just that. Plaintiff submits to this court that he has demonstrably shown more respect for this court than has The Florida Bar with its fraudulent filings, its improper pleading practices, its knowing misrepresentations by Barry Richard about Mason v. Florida Bar, and now its public proclamation that "there's nothing coming out of the federal court that can stop us." The Bar is going to eat those words. I HEREBY CERTIFY that this has been served upon record counsel this 22nd day of October, 2007, electronically. /s/ JOHN B. THOMPSON, Plaintiff Attorney, Florida Bar #231665 1172 South Dixie Hwy., Suite 111 Coral Gables, Florida 33146 Phone: 305-666-4366 amendmentone@comcast.net 2
