Thompson, (Thompson) an attorney on his own behalf, and asks the court to take judicial notice of the below news story that corroborates a) the legitimacy of Thompson's concerns about the public safety danger posed by teens rehearsing on violence simulators, and b) The Bar's bad faith in attempting to pathologize Thompson's fact-based concerns at the behest of the very SLAPP Bar complainants who make these dangerous games. Does this court not see what is going on here? Case No. 07-21256 (Judge Adalberto Jordan)

Nov 06 2007 Five teens in custody after `mission' to KHS
KINGSTON -- Five teenagers were taken into custody after they were found hiding on the Kingston High School roof at about 1:20 a.m. Nov. 4, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office. Three 18-year-old Poulsbo residents, one 18-year-old Suquamish resident and one 15-year-old Poulsbo resident admitted to climbing on top of the newly constructed school and gaining access to the building through a roof door.

One of the 18-year-olds said they had been playing a spy video game, "Splinter Cell," before deciding to go to the high school. One of the 18-year-olds then called his friend, the 15-year-old who attends North Kitsap High School, and invited her along. She said her friend and the others were "going on a mission." They told deputies once they were inside the school, they ran around and pushed each other in wheeled garbage cans. None of them said they had any intention of vandalizing or taking anything. Deputies said they saw one of the teenagers in the building upon arrival wearing a black vest and mask. They were able to gain access to the roof, and found the group hiding in an air-conditioning unit. Three of the 18-year-olds were booked at the Kitsap County Jail for second degree burglary with bail set at $10,000 and one 18-year-old was booked at the jail for second degree burglary and possession of burglary tools with bail set at $10,500, deputies said. The 15-year-old was booked in juvenile detention for second degree burglary.
