DEFENDANTS’ UNOPPOSED MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME
TO RESPOND TO SECOND AMENDED COMPLAINT
Defendants Abovethelaw.com, David Lat, Elie Mystal, Breakingmedia.com, John Lerner,
David Minkin, and Breaking Media (the “Moving Defendants”), by their attorneys, respectfully
request that the Court extend, to September 21, 2011, the deadline within which they must
respond to the Second Amended Complaint of Plaintiff Meanith Huon (“Plaintiff”).
1.

Pursuant to this Court’s July 29, 2011, order (Docket No. 30), the Moving

Defendants’ response to the Second Amended Complaint is due August 22, 2011.
2.

Due to professional commitments in unrelated matters, the Moving Defendants

require additional time, until September 21, 2011, to prepare a response to the Second Amended
Complaint.
3.

Plaintiff has indicated that he does not oppose the requested extension.

WHEREFORE, the Moving Defendants respectfully request that this Court enter an order
extending to September 21, 2011, the time within which the Moving Defendants must respond to
the Second Amended Complaint, and providing such further relief as the Court deems
appropriate.
