IN RE: APPLE iPHONE 3G AND 3GS "MMS" MARKETING AND SALES PRACTICES LITIGATION THIS DOCUMENT RELATES TO ALL CASES PRETRIAL ORDER #8 On April 9, 2010, the Court held an ex parte conference with Plaintiffs' Liaison Counsel, Scott R. Bickford. conference, the Court ORDERED the following: Plaintiffs' Motion to Appoint Counsel as Committee Members (Rec. Doc. 49) is DENIED. The task of organizing subcommittees comprised of Plaintiffs' attorneys not on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee ("PSC") and assigning them tasks consistent with the duties of the PSC are no longer subject to approval of the Court. The PSC may appoint attorneys to various committees to perform common benefit work and shall be responsible for approving and monitoring that work. Any common benefit work Work that does During the performed must receive prior approval by the PSC. not receive prior approval will not be entitled to compensation.
