STATUS REPORT
Pursuant to the Court’s request during the March 21, 2017 status conference to be kept
advised of material developments in litigation concerning Executive Order No. 13,780, Defendants
submit this status report to inform the Court of a ruling in Sarsour, et al. v. Trump, et al., Case No.
1:17-cv-120 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. In that case, after
briefing and a hearing, the court today denied the plaintiffs’ motion for a temporary restraining
order and/or preliminary injunction of the Executive Order. The court’s Memorandum Opinion is
attached as Exhibit A to this Status Report.
