Brady et al v. National Football League et al Doc. 19 UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT DISTRICT OF MINNESOTA TOM BRADY, ET AL., Plaintiffs, v. NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, ET AL., Defendants. The above-captioned case has been assigned to the undersigned judge of this Court. While in private practice, the undersigned represented the National Football League and its member clubs in a number of cases, including Powell, et al. v. NFL, et al., Case No. 4:87-CV0917 (DSD/FEB); Five Smiths, et al. v. NFLPA, et al., Case No. 4:90-CV-0261 (DSD/FEB); and McNeil, et al. v. NFL, et al., Case No. 4:90-CV-0476 (DSD/FEB). In light of that fact, the undersigned finds that "his impartiality might reasonably be questioned," and therefore recuses himself from hearing this matter as required by 28 U.S.C. § 455(a). IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that, pursuant to this Court's Assignment of Cases Order filed December 19, 2008, the above-captioned action shall be resubmitted to the Clerk of Court for reassignment. The Clerk is further directed to void and reuse a card on the antitrust list of the automated case-assignment system.
