R. Civ. P. 6(b)(1)(A), the parties jointly move the Court for an extension of time in which to submit memoranda related to Defendant LegalZoom.Com, Inc.'s ("LegalZoom") Motion to Reconsider or, In the Alternative, to Transfer Venue ("Transfer Motion"). 1. On June 1, 2010, the Court entered an order denying Defendant's Motion to Dismiss for Improper Venue [D.E. 29]. 2. In the June 1, 2010 Order, the Court granted permission to Defendant to file a motion to transfer venue. On June 16, 2010, Defendant filed the Transfer Motion. 3. In the June 1, 2010 Order, the Court further ordered that Plaintiffs have until July 1, 2010 to file a response to the Transfer Motion, and that Defendant may file a reply no later than July 7, 2010. 4. The Court's briefing schedule straddles Independence Day, including the observed federal holiday on Monday, July 5, 2010. Dockets.Justia.com 5. Because of the holiday and the press of other business, the parties request a one- week extension of the briefing schedule. 6. Accordingly, Plaintiffs seek to extend the deadline for responding to the Transfer Motion to July 8, 2010, and Defendant seeks to extend the deadline for filing its reply brief to July 14, 2010. 7. The request for an extension of time is not made for the purpose of delay and will not result in prejudice to any party. 8. The parties have not made a prior motion to extend this deadline.
