T h e ends of justice served by granting the Court's request to change the p re tria l conference outweigh the interests of the public and the defendant in a s p e e d y trial, and the additional time arising as a result of the granting of the m o tio n , the time between today's date and the pretrial conference, shall be d e e m e d excluded in any computation of time under the requirements of the S p e e d y Trial Act, for the reason that defendant's counsel requires additional tim e to adequately prepare the case, taking into consideration due diligence of c o u n se l, the novelty and complexity of the case, and the fact that the failure to g ra n t additional time might result in a miscarriage of justice. 18 U.S.C. § 3 1 6 1 (h)(7 ). 2) D A T E D this 20 th day of September, 2010.
