ORDER Dismissing Case re 7 ORDER that plaintiffs motion for status check 6 is GRANTED. Plaintiff will have twenty (20) days from the date that this Order is entered to file a notice of change of address. Plaintiff is expressly cautioned that if he does not timely file a notice of change of address in compliance with this order this action may be immediately dismissed. Case terminated. NLV Detention Center et al Doc. 9 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT 8 DISTRICT OF NEVADA 9 10 GREG WILSON, 11 12 13 14 15 Defendants. 16 17 On August 23, 2010, the court sent plaintiff an order granting his motion for status check. 18 In that order, the court noted that plaintiff apparently had been released from the North Las Vegas 19 Detention Center and directed him to file a notice of change of address within twenty (20) days of entry 20 of the order (docket #7). On September 7, 2010, the order served on plaintiff was returned by the U.S. 21 Postal Service as undeliverable (see docket #8). Pursuant to Rule 2-2 of the Local Rules of Special 22 Proceedings and Appeals, a pro se litigant is required to keep the court apprised of his or her current 23 address at all times. Local Rule 2-2 states: "The plaintiff shall immediately file with the court written 24 notification of any change of address. The notification must include proof of service upon each 25 opposing party or the party's attorney. Failure to comply with this rule may result in dismissal of the 26 action with prejudice."
