Defendant.

16
Plaintiff Kevin Sipes has filed a motion for a preliminary injunction and moves for an
17
order shortening time (#9) as to that motion. In his motion for a preliminary injunction,
18
Sipes seeks to enjoin the sale of his home, which he asserts is presently scheduled for a
19
Trustee’s Sale on October 24, 2012. Sipes asserts, in his motion to shorten time, that if his
20
motion for preliminary injunction is heard in the normal course, the sale will likely occur
21
during the interim. The Court finds, however, that briefing can be completed and the
22
motion can be heard and decided without shortening time. Accordingly,
23
THE COURT ORDERS that Plaintiff’s Motion for Order Shortening Time Pursuant to
24
LR 6-1 (#9) is DENIED;
