Presently, Mr. Williams is appearing in pro per status and Mr. Barrick is not his 21 counsel of record in the instant matter; although, Mr. Barrick is counsel of record in 22 another matter for Mr. Williams: Williams v. Turner, et al., 2:09-cv-1979-KJD-GWF. 23 Mr. Williams has communicated with Mr. Barrick regarding the nature of the 24 25 26 27 28 pending claims in this matter and his belief that Mr. Barrick’s involvement will be of assistance in resolving the matter in the settlement discussions. In addition, Mr. Barrick has been granted similar leave in the matter of Lyons v.
