STALLINGS, ) ) Plaintiff, ) ) vs. ) ) ANDERSONS, INC., ) ) Defendant. ) __________________________________________) Case No. 2:14-cv-00279-JAD-CWH ORDER 12 This matter is before the Court on the parties’ failure to file a proposed stipulated discovery 13 plan and scheduling order. The Complaint (#1) in this matter was filed on February 24, 2014. 14 Accordingly, the first defendant answered or otherwise appeared on March 21, 2014. Pursuant to 15 Local Rule (“LR”) 26-1(d), the parties were required to meet and confer pursuant to Federal Rule 16 of Civil Procedure 26(f) within 30 days after the first defendant answered or otherwise appeared. 17 In addition, LR 26-1(d) requires the parties to file a proposed stipulated discovery plan and 18 scheduling order within 14 days after the mandatory scheduling conference. To date, the parties 19 have not complied with LR 26-1(d). 20 Based on the foregoing and good cause appearing therefore, 21 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the parties shall file a proposed stipulated discovery plan 22 and scheduling order by May 19, 2014. 23 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the parties shall submit the proposed stipulated 24 discovery plan and scheduling order in compliance with the provisions of LR 26-1 and LR 26-4 of 25 the Local Rules of Practice for the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. 26 DATED this 12th day of May, 2014. 27 28 _______________________________________ C.W.
