Defendants. 11 12 This matter is before the court on the parties= failure to file a proposed stipulated 13 discovery plan and scheduling order. The complaint in this matter was filed in state court and 14 removed (ECF No. 1) June 12, 2016. Defendant Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation 15 filed an Answer (ECF No. 3) July 13, 2016. Pursuant to LR 26-1, the parties were required to 16 meet and/or confer as required by Fed. R. Civ. P. 26(f) within thirty days after the first defendant 17 answered or otherwise appeared, and fourteen days thereafter to file a mandatory stipulated 18 discovery plan and scheduling order. To date, the parties have not complied. Accordingly, 19 IT IS ORDERED: 20 1. The following discovery plan and scheduling order dates shall apply: 21 a. 22 not later than September 28, 2016. 23 b. Last date to complete discovery: January 9, 2017 24 c. Last date to amend pleadings and add parties: October 11, 2016 25 d. Last date to file interim status report: November 10, 2016 26 e. Last date to disclose experts pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 26(a)(2): 27 November 10, 2016 28 f. The parties shall meet and/or confer as required by Fed. R. Civ.
