Docket #25. There are at most three 19 (3) expert depositions that may be conducted (two plaintiff experts 20 and one defense rebuttal expert). The District’s summary judgment 21 motion was disposed of by order dated March 15, 2018, leaving only 22 a state law negligence/negligent supervision claim remaining for 23 trial. Docket #46. Said order also referred the case for a 24 settlement conference which was set for May 3, 2018. Docket #47. 25 Due to an unexpected emergency involving an attorney in the case, 26 the settlement conference has been rescheduled for May 30, 2018. 27 The parties agree an extension to depose experts is appropriate 28 given the postponement of the settlement conference and in the best Case 2:16-cv-01696-JAD-PAL Document 52 Filed 05/14/18 Page 2 of 2 1 interest of the parties so as to not needlessly waste the time and 2 expense associated with expert depositions. Modified by the court. Therefore, the parties 3 respectfully request they be allowed to conduct expert depositions 90 4 up to 30 days before trial.
