ORDER that this case is hereby STAYED. FURTHER ORDERED that 24 and 25 plaintiff Shirehampton Drive Trust's Motions for Summary Judgment are DENIED without prejudice. FURTHER ORDERED that 26 and 27 Motions for Summary Judgment is DENIED without prejudice. The moving party shall have 21 days from the date of the Nevada Supreme Court's decision on the certified question to file a modified Motion for Summary Judgment or to file a notice renewing the previously filed motion. Mellon v. Star Hill Homeowners Ass’n, 25 Case No. 2:16-cv-02561-RFB-PAL, ECF No. 41. The Court finds that the outcome of that decision 26 will impact the pending motions in this case. For reasons of judicial economy and to avoid 27 inconsistent decisions or partial decisions on some but not all issues, the Court will not consider 28 1 any further motions until the parties have had the opportunity to receive and address the Nevada 2 Supreme Court’s opinion on this issue. 3 4 IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that this case is hereby STAYED. 5 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Plaintiff’s Shirehampton Drive Trust’s Motion for 6 Summary Judgment Against Defendant United States of America Treasury Department, Internal 7 Revenue Service, and Motion for Summary Judgment Against Defendant JPMorgan Chase Bank, 8 National Association are DENIED without prejudice. ECF No. [24] and ECF No. [25]. 9 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Counter Claimant United States of America, 10 Defendant United States of America’s Motion for Summary Judgment Against Plaintiff is 11 DENIED without prejudice. ECF NO. [26]. 12 13 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Defendant JPMorgan Bank, National Association’s Motion for Summary Judgment is DENIED without prejudice. ECF No. [28]. 14 The moving party shall have 21 days from the date of the Nevada Supreme Court’s decision 15 on the certified question to file a modified Motion for Summary Judgment or to file a notice 16 renewing the previously filed motion.
