On April 20, 2017, the Court ordered Defendants to show cause as to why this 21 case should not be remanded for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. (ECF No. 6.) 22 Defendants responded on May 5, 2017. (ECF No. 13.) In their response, Defendants met 23 their burden to demonstrate that the amount-in-controversy exceeds $75,000. 24 Accordingly, the Court is now assured of its jurisdiction to preside over this case. 25 DATED THIS 30th day of May 2017. 26 27 28 MIRANDA M.
