Petitioners have submitted the affidavit required by § 1915(a). Docket No. 1. However,

Petitioners are required to each submit an application and cannot submit one application on behalf
21
of both of them. 28 U.S.C. § 1915. Therefore, the Court DENIES without prejudice Petitioners’
22
application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis. Docket No. 1. The Clerk of Court shall retain
23
the petition.

IT IS ORDERED:

Petitioners’ Application to Proceed In Forma Pauperis is DENIED without

prejudice. The Clerk of Court shall mail Petitioners two blank applications, and

Petitioners shall have until January 22, 2018 to pay the $400 filing fee or to each
6
submit a completed application. Failure to comply with this order will result in a
7
recommendation to the district judge for dismissal.
