(“Artec,”), CALEB WICKMAN 5 (“Wickman”), and STONE DOUGLASS (“Douglass”; collectively, the “Artec 6 7 Defendants”) have entered into a settlement agreement (the “Settlement 8 Agreement”) that obviates the need for a trial in the above-captioned matter. 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 Pursuant to the terms of the Settlement Agreement, the Artec Defendants will pay Brown monthly installments of settlement funds, the last of which is due on or about February 1, 2020. The Settlement Agreement also allows Brown to enter a Confession of Judgment in this Court if the Artec Defendants materially breach the Settlement Agreement. 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Brown and the Artec Defendants respectfully request that this Court (1) vacate all further dates in connection with the above-captioned matter; and (2) retain jurisdiction of this matter until February 14, 2020, at which time Brown will dismiss all claims and causes of action against the Artec Defendants.
