Case 2:17-cv-02101-JAD-VCF Document 80 Filed 01/23/23 Page 1 of 1 1 UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT 2 DISTRICT OF NEVADA 3 PATRICK EDWARD WILCOCK, 4 Petitioner 5 v. 6 JO GENTRY, et al., 7 Case No.: 2:17-cv-02101-JAD-VCF Order Granting Extension of Time to Reply in Support of Motion to Dismiss to February 21, 2023 Respondents [ECF No. 79] 8 9 10 Respondents ask the court for a 60-day extension of time to file a reply in support of their 11 motion to dismiss Patrick Edward Wilcock’s 28 U.S.C. § 2254 habeas corpus petition. 1 While I 12 find good cause to grant an extension, I do not find that such a long extension is warranted. I am 13 also highly unlikely to grant any further extension absent extraordinary circumstances. 14 IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that respondents’ unopposed motion for extension of 15 time to reply in support of the motion to dismiss [ECF No. 79] is GRANTED in part. The 16 deadline to oppose is extended to February 21, 2023. 17 18 _________________________________ U.S. District Judge Jennifer A. Dorsey Dated: January 23, 2023 19 20 21 22 23 1 ECF No. 79.
