ORDER. IT IS ORDERED as follows: (1) The clerk shall electronically SERVE a copy of this order, a copy of 3 order, and a copy of plaintiff's 4 complaint on the Office of the AG, attn.: Pamela Sharp. (See NEF's for service det ails.) (2) The AG's Office shall advise the court w/in 21 days whether it can accept service for the D(s). Any D(s) that which the AG's Office cannot accept service, the AG shall file, under seal, the last known address(es) of those D(s). (3) P shall file a motion identifying the unserved D(s), requesting issuance of a summons. (4) The AG shall file and serve an answer/responsive pleading w/in 60 days. The Clerk shall electronically SERVE a copy of this order, a copy of the court’s 18 screening order (#3) and a copy of plaintiff’s complaint (#4) on the Office of the 19 Attorney General of the State of Nevada, attention Pamela Sharp. 20 2. The Attorney General’s office shall advise the court within twenty-one (21) days of 21 the date of the entry of this order whether it can accept service of process for the 22 named defendants. As to any of the named defendants for which the Attorney 23 General’s office cannot accept service, the office shall file, under seal, the last known 24 address(es) of those defendant(s). 25 3. If service cannot be accepted for any of the named defendant(s), plaintiff shall file a 26 motion identifying the unserved defendant(s), requesting issuance of a summons, and 27 specifying a full name and address for said defendant(s). 28 1 4. If the Attorney General accepts service of process for any named defendant(s), such 2 defendant(s) shall file and serve an answer or other response to the complaint within 3 sixty (60) days from the date of this order. 4 5. Henceforth, plaintiff shall serve upon defendant(s) or, if an appearance has been 5 entered by counsel, upon their attorney(s), a copy of every pleading, motion or other 6 document submitted for consideration by the court. Plaintiff shall include with the 7 original paper submitted for filing a certificate stating the date that a true and correct 8 copy of the document was mailed to the defendants or counsel for the defendants. If 9 counsel has entered a notice of appearance, the plaintiff shall direct service to the 10 individual attorney named in the notice of appearance, at the address stated therein. 11 The court may disregard any paper received by a district judge or magistrate judge 12 which has not been filed with the clerk, and any paper received by a district judge, 13 magistrate judge, or the clerk which fails to include a certificate showing proper 14 service. 15 IT IS SO ORDERED. 16 DATED: April 2, 2012. 17 18 _________________________________ WILLIAM G.
