SCHEDULING ORDER This Scheduling Order confirms the directives given to counsel at the status conference on August 6, 2007; and the Court noting that counsel for all parties appeared. IT IS this 7th day of August, 2007, hereby ORDERED: 1. Initial written discovery requests shall be served by August 15, 2007. By August 31, 2007, the parties shall respond to the written discovery. Thereafter, the parties shall follow the schedule set forth in paragraphs 2 and 3 of the June 6, 2007 Scheduling Order in Melfi, C.A. No. 07-828 (NLH)[Doc. No. 25]. Responsive letter briefs shall be served by September 24, 2007. 2. The Court will conduct a status conference and oral argument on outstanding discovery issues on October 2, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. FAILURE TO APPEAR WILL LEAD TO THE IMPOSITION OF SANCTIONS, INCLUDING COSTS. Any application for an extension of time beyond the deadlines set herein shall be made in writing to the undersigned and served upon all counsel prior to expiration of the period sought to be extended, and shall disclose in the application all such extensions previously obtained, the precise reasons necessitating the application showing good cause under FED. R. CIV. P. 16(b), and whether adversary counsel agree with the application. The schedule set herein will not be extended unless good cause is shown.
