A Rule 16 initial scheduling conference will be held by telephone on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at (505) 528-1660.2 Counsel should be prepared to discuss discovery needs and scheduling, all claims and defenses, initial disclosures, and the timing of expert disclosures and reports under FED. R. CIV. P. 26(a)(2). Counsel should also be prepared to discuss the use of scientific evidence and whether a Daubert hearing is needed.3 In addition, we will discuss settlement prospects and alternative dispute resolution possibilities. Client attendance is not required. If service on all parties is not complete, Plaintiff(s) is/are responsible for notifying all parties of the content of this order.
