MEMORANDUM AND ORDER, The Court grants pltff's request to proceed in forma pauperis. For the reasons set forth herein, pltff's claims against HSBC Bank are DISMISSED. No summons shall issue as to that deft. As to pltff's claims against the 113th Pct., they will be dismissed and the Complaint amended in a manner consistent with this Order upon the parties' compliance with the requisites of this Order. The Court directs that the Corp. Counsel of the City of NY ascertain the ful l names of the NYPD officers who were involved in pltff's arrest, pursuant to Valentin v. Dinkins, 121 F.3d 71 (2d Cir. 1997) (per curiam). The Corp. Counsel is also directed to provide the addresses where the defts can currently be served. The Corp. Counsel need not undertake to defend or indemnify those individuals at this juncture. The Corp. Counsel is further directed to produce the information specified re: the identity of these defts within 45 days from the entry of this Order. The Cl erk of Court shall send a copy of this Order and pltff's complaint to the Corp. Counsel of the City of NY and to pltff. No summonses shall issue at this time. The case is referred to Magistrate Judge Blolom for pretrial supervision. The Court ce rtifies pursuant to 28 USC sec. 1915(a)(3) that any appeal from this Order would not be taken in good faith and, therefore, in forma pauperis status is denied for puproses of any such appeal.
