Bell v. United States of America

Filing 4

MEMORANDUM AND ORDER: Plaintiff's 2 request to proceed in forma pauperis ("IFP") is granted solely for the purpose of this Order. The complaint is dismissed as frivolous, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915(e)(2)(B). Even a liberal reading of the complaint gives no indication that a valid claim may be asserted if leave to amend is granted. Accordingly, leave to amend is not granted. The Court certifies pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915(a)(3) that any appeal from this order would not be taken in good faith and therefore in forma pauperis status is denied for purposes of an appeal. The Clerk of Court is respectfully requested to enter judgment accordingly, to close the case, and to serve copies of the Memorandum and Order and Judgment upon plaintiff and note service on the docket. SO ORDERED by Judge Kiyo A. Matsumoto, on 10/4/2013. C/mailed. (Latka-Mucha, Wieslawa)
