Crawley v. Cangemi

Filing 8

MEMORANDUM AND ORDER: The Court directs the plaintiff to show cause, by filing an affirmation within thirty days of the date of this order, why this matter should not be dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. In the affirmation, the plain tiff is directed to set forth facts which show that this action is proper under the Court's diversity jurisdiction. If the plaintiff elects to file a written affirmation, she is directed to address specifically the amount-in-controversy requirement and the basis of her claim against the defendant. If the plaintiff does not file a written affirmation, the Court will dismiss the action. Ordered by Judge Ann M. Donnelly on 2/9/2018. (Greene, Donna)
