Req uest to Adjourn Initial Conference
Dear Judge Scheindlin:
I am counsel to Defendants in the above matter. The initial conference in this matter was
scheduled for May 18 but was rescheduled by the court for Friday, MaV 20, 2011 at 2:30 p.m.
Friday afternoons are a very difficult time to drive into the city. I have confirmed with Plaintiff's
attorney who consents to this request to adjourn the initial conference. Without intending to
impinge upon the court's prerogatives, both counsel are available this Thursday after 3 p.m.
and Friday, May 27 in the morning. I will not be available on June 2 and June 3 since I will be
th
attending my 50 reunion at Columbia College.
Both counsel thank the court for its indulgence.
Respectfully sub m itted,
