Dear Judge Forrest:
We write on behalf of plaintiffs to request an adjournment of the status conference
currently scheduled for February 9th to Friday March 2nd. Counsel for defendant Apple has
consented to this request.
Due to financial issues with our client, our finn cannot continue to represent Mr. Colby
and his companies in this matter. We are in the process of securing new counsel. As a major
issue for this conference is the setting of a schedule, as well as addressing several discovery
disputes (including the tenns of a Protective Order), we believe it would be appropriate to
postpone the conference until new counsel can participate.
