Barreras v. United States Of America
OPINION AND ORDER: For the reasons stated, Barreras has failed to make a showing sufficient to warrant a hearing on his claims. Therefore, Barreras's § 2255 motion is DENIED. Moreover, the Court declines to issue a certificate of appealab ility because there has been no "substantial showing of the denial of a constitutional right." 28 U.S.C. § 2255(c)(2); see Matthews v. United States, 682 F.3d 180, 185 (2d Cir. 2012). The Clerk of the Court is directed to close the case. (Signed by Judge Andrew L. Carter, Jr on 4/12/2016) (tn)
