OPINION & ORDER: re: 4 LETTER MOTION for Extension of Time to File a Notice of Appeal Nunc Pro Tunc to December 3, 2014 addressed to Judge Paul A. Engelmayer from Julio E. Portilla, Esq. dated 1/19/2015. filed by Ramon Quiroz. This O pinion concerns whether the Court has subject-matter jurisdiction over an untimely appeal from an Opinion and Order of the Bankruptcy Court. For the reasons set forth herein, the Court concludes that, under the Bankruptcy Rules and applicable precede nt, the Court lacks subject-matter jurisdiction and therefore dismisses this appeal. Because appellants are not entitled to relief, this Court lacks subject-matter jurisdiction and therefore dismisses this appeal. The Clerk of Court is directed to terminate the motion pending at docket number 4, and to close this case. (Signed by Judge Paul A. Engelmayer on 1/30/2015) (kgo)
