Dear Judge Abrams:
We represent Defendants Reckitt Benckiser LLC and RB Health (US) LLC (“Defendants”) in
the above-captioned case, and respectfully submit this letter jointly with counsel for Plaintiff
Maritza Angeles (“Plaintiff”), pursuant to Your Honor’s order dated January 14, 2021 (Dkt. No.
20).
On January 14, 2021, this Court granted the parties’ joint request to stay proceedings in the
above-captioned matter pending the addition of Plaintiff as a party to a related class action
presently pending in the Southern District of Florida, Williams et al. v. Reckitt Benckiser LLC, et
al., No. 1:20-cv-23564 (the “Florida Action”), and in anticipation of filing a joint stipulation of
dismissal of the above-captioned action in deference to the Florida Action.
On January 27, 2021, Plaintiff was added as a party to the amended complaint in the Florida
Action. On February 8, 2021, the plaintiffs to the Florida Action filed an unopposed motion for
preliminary approval of class action settlement and certification of the settlement class.
As the Florida Action plaintiffs’ unopposed motion remains pending, the parties respectfully
request that the Court extend the stay of the above-captioned action through and including
August 16, 2021.
