PLAINTIFF’S MOTION TO STAY PROCEEDINGS TEMPORARILY
Plaintiff Paul Ceglia hereby moves this court for a temporary stay of proceedings. Ceglia
has already executed a notice of withdrawal to allow Jeffrey A. Lake, currently co-counsel of
record, to withdraw from this case. (Declaration of Jeffrey A. Lake, Ex. A.) However, Ceglia is
also in the final stages of obtaining new counsel. (Lake Decl. ¶ 2.) Therefore, Ceglia and his
current counsel respectfully request that the Court temporarily stay all proceedings for three
weeks in order to allow new counsel to come up to speed with the facts and proceedings of this
case and adequately represent Ceglia upon substitution.
