ORDER EXPEDITING DEADLINES
FOR FILING RESPONSE AND
REPLY WITH RESPECT TO
MOTION FOR STAY
This matter is before the Court on a Motion to Expedite [Doc. #207] filed by Defendant
the City of Durham, North Carolina, and the individual City Defendants Patrick Baker, Steven
Chalmers, Beverly Council, Ronald Hodge, Jeff Lamb, Lee Russ, Michael Ripberger, David
Addison, Mark Gottlieb, and Benjamin Himan (collectively, the “City Defendants”) pursuant to
FED. R. CIV. P. 6(c), and LR7.3(f), MDNC, and with consent of counsel to Plaintiffs. The Court
finds that good cause exists to allow the Motion to Expedite.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Motion to Expedite [Doc. #207] is GRANTED,
and that with respect to the City Defendants’ motion for stay of proceedings and supporting brief
filed on May 13, 2011, any Response, including brief, shall be filed on or before midnight on
May 24, 2011, and any Reply shall be filed on or before midnight on May 27, 2011.
