Scheduling Conference Order
On August 27, 2013, counsel for the parties participated in a telephone scheduling
conference with the Magistrate Judge at the request of defendants’ counsel regarding
when depositions should begin in these federal cases.1
Counsel have an October 1 discovery deadline in the Mark Smith Franklin County
Common Pleas Court case. Plaintiffs’ July 17, 2013 motions for leave to amend their
complaints will be at issue September 5. I will endeavor to rule on that motion during

September. It is ORDERED that depositions in these federal case may not be noticed for
September but may be noticed now for October 2013.
