This litigation is before the Court on the Petitioner's Objections (Doc. #24) to the Report and Recommendations of the United States Magistrate Judge (Doc. #23). In that judicial filing, Judge Michael R. Merz recommended that this Court deny Petitioner a certificate of appealability. Given that the Sixth Circuit has denied the Petitioner's request for such a certificate (see Doc. #25), this Court overrules, as moot, the Petitioner's Objections (Doc. #24) to the Report and Recommendations (Doc. #23) of the Magistrate Judge.
